Project Paws AJK was founded by two brothers who could no longer ignore the suffering of stray animals on the streets of Muzaffarabad.
What started as feeding a few hungry animals quickly became a heartfelt mission to help as many strays as possible. Without sponsorships, funding, or support from any organization, we began this journey entirely on our own.
Every meal we provide, every treatment we arrange, and every rescue effort comes from personal dedication and compassion for voiceless animals who deserve love and care.
We may be small today, but with your support, we can create a much bigger impact for animals in need.
Feeding Hope, One Paw at a Time
Our mission is to:
- Feed hungry stray dogs and cats
- Provide emergency medical assistance whenever possible
- Reduce the suffering of abandoned animals
- Raise awareness about kindness and animal welfare
- Inspire communities to care for voiceless creatures
- Build a shelter facility in Muzaffarabad for rescued and injured strays
We believe every animal deserves food, compassion, and a chance to live safely.
A Safer Future for Stray Animals
Right now, our work is limited due to lack of funding and shelter facilities. But our vision is much bigger.
With public support and donations, we hope to:
- Establish the first dedicated shelter space for stray animals in our area
- Expand feeding drives to more locations
- Provide better medical care for injured animals
- Rescue abandoned and vulnerable strays
- Build a compassionate community for animal welfare
Together, we can turn this small initiative into a life-saving movement.
